Amazon parrots are a genus of 31–33 medium-sized, chunky New World parrots known for their mimicking abilities. They are native to tropical forests in Mexico, the West Indies, and northern South America. Appearance: Mostly green with bright accents, especially on the head. They have short, square tails and slightly erectile crown feathers. Size: 10–16 inches long, weighing around 9.5 oz.
