Coat Types:
Peruvian:
Long, silky hair covering the entire body, including the face. Requires daily brushing and regular trims.
Silkie (Sheltie):
Long, smooth, flowing hair that sweeps back from the face, creating a teardrop shape. Needs daily brushing to prevent knots and debris.
Coronet:
Similar to the Silkie with long, smooth hair, but distinguished by a crown-like rosette on the forehead.
Abyssinian:
Short to medium-length hair with multiple rosettes (cowlicks) all over the body. Lower maintenance than other long-haired breeds.
Texel:
Wavy or curly hair.
Sheba:
A cross between Peruvian and Abyssinian, with a long coat and rosettes. Slower hair growth than other long-haired breeds.
